Abstract:

This paper presents the first verified record of the expansive harvestman Platybunus pinetorum (C.L. Koch, 1839) from Poland. Three female individuals were recorded in Szczecin over a period of 13 months, including two photographic records and one collected specimen. Over the last several decades this species has significantly expanded its geographical range in Europe. It is likely that in the future the species will be found in other localities in Poland.
