The collection includes full texts of serial and non-serial publications from the collections of the Institute's Library, that is the Central Mathematical Library. The texts in the collection are of an interdisciplinary nature, they include not only the field of mathematics, but also natural sciences, as well as logic and philosophy. The oldest item, so far published in the digital collection of the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, is the mathematical table published in 1790. However, most of the collected texts come from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The publications on the website include texts in Polish, Latin, German, English, French, Russian and Italian. The collection of the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences consists of 6 sub-collections, which include the following types of collections: books - published in the 19th and 20th centuries, periodicals from the 19th and 20th centuries, mathematical tables published in the 18th and 19th centuries, photos - gathered in the so-called Archives of Polish Mathematicians, a collection of publications collected by the mathematician Aleksander Czajewicz (1843-1926) and a part of the collection collected by the mathematician and publisher Samuel Dickstein (1851-1939).
