Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to analyse the bilateral relations between Montenegro and Turkey. The research claims that Turkey does not have hostile intentions towards Montenegro, but instead currently serves as a protector and donor. The Montenegrin authorities do not regard Turkey as a threat, either economically or politically. Turkey seems to be implementing the “strategic depth” doctrine adopted in 2009, using Montenegro as an example
