Search for: [Object description = "The photo shows a shrine in honor of …… Mata. This place, considered Hindu, is devoid of any signs. From the outside, we can see a tree surrounded by a barbed fence, and an empty place has been left inside. There is a small wooden box next to the tree trunk. This sacred site is situated in the Thar Desert outside the village. It is here that the night rituals are held during the full moon and last all night from dusk to sunrise. Singing and dancing to the accompaniment of drums lasted until morning. The ceremony is attended by members of the meghwal community, traditionally involved in killing animals in the Hindu hierarchy. They belong to the so\-called Hindu untouchable castes, and in Pakistan also they are located on the periphery of the community."]
