Abstract:

The paper presents a new existence result for three-dimensional (3-D) shape memory model which has the form of a nonlinear thermoelasticity system with viscosity ν > 0 and capillarity ϰ > 0. In contrast to the previous authors results, proved under assumption 0 < 2 ϰ1/2 < ν, here we admit ϰ > 0 and ν > 0 possibly arbitrarily small. With such assumption the obtained existence result becomes more adequate for shape memory problems where viscosity effects are negligible small. Moreover, a broader class of boundary conditions is considered. The solvability analysis of the initial-boundary-value problems for viscoelasticity system with capillarity is also presented.
