Abstract:

The paper presents some basic information on the Kendall’s tau statistic for autocorrelated data. On its basis, a control chart was proposed. Statistical properties of this control chart have been investigated using Monte Carlo simulations. The behavior of the new chart was compared with the behavior of a chart based on the serial autocorrelation coefficient.
