Declaration of availability

The Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences as the Lead Partner of the RCIN Consortium undertakes to ensure the accessibility of the RCIN website in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities (Journal of Laws 2019, item 848). The accessibility statement applies to the website www.rcin.org.pl

Date of publication of the website: 01.07.2008. Date of last significant update: 5.02.2021

The website is partially compliant with the Digital Accessibility of Public Entities' Websites and Mobile Applications Act of April 4, 2019 due to the inconsistencies or exclusions listed below:

  • there are graphic texts and some graphic elements do not have alternative texts,
  • some page elements have too little contrast, make it difficult to use the page with only a keyboard or screen reader,
  • after enlarging the page to 200%, not all of the page content fits in the browser window,
  • There may be errors in the code of the site,
  • there are multimedia files that are not adapted to the needs of the deaf and hard of hearing as well as visually impaired and blind persons (multimedia files published before 5 February 2021 are successively adjusted to the above).

Standard keyboard shortcuts can be used on the website.

Information on the procedure.

Everyone has the right to:

  • request digital accessibility of the website, mobile application or any of its elements,
  • make the information available in alternative forms, e.g. read a digitally inaccessible document, describe the content of a film without an audio, etc.

The request should include the following details:

  • contact details of the person making the request,
  • an indication of the webpage or webpage element to be made digitally accessible
  • an indication of how to contact the person making the request.

If the requesting person states the need to receive information by means of an alternative way of access, he/she should also specify a convenient way of presenting this information.

Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences as the Lead Partner of the RCIN Consortium shall execute the request immediately, no later than within 7 days from the date of the request. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, IM PAN as the Lead Partner of the RCIN Consortium will immediately inform the requester and specify the deadline for fulfilling the request, which cannot be longer than 2 months from the date of the request. If ensuring digital accessibility proves impossible, IM PAN as the Lead Partner of the RCIN Consortium may propose an alternative way to access the information.

In case IM PAN as the Lead Partner of the RCIN Consortium refuses to comply with the request to provide accessibility or an alternative way of accessing the information, the requester may file a complaint about the provision of digital accessibility of the website or website element by emailing rcin@impan.pl or by postal mail to the address: Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences with the reference RCIN Consortium Lead Partner, 8 Śniadeckich, 00-656 Warsaw. A complaint may also be submitted to the Ombudsman: https://www.rpo.gov.pl.
