Abstract:

W artykule przedstawia się dominującą rolę transportu lotniczego w obsłudze zorganizowanego ruchu turystycznego, szczególnie widoczną w turystyce zagranicznej. Udział poszczególnych segmentów rynku lotniczego w przewozach turystycznych jest jednak różny: od trudnego do określenia w przewozach regularnych do niemal wyłącznego w przewozach czarterowych. W części I artykułu przedstawia się charakterystykę liczbową pasażerów i operacji w polskich portach lotniczych, a także największych przewoźników regularnych, obsługujących między innymi zorganizowane przeloty turystyczne. Część II artykułu, poświęcona przewoźnikom czarterowym, ukaże się w Przeglądzie Geograficznym, 2015, 87, 4.
