Abstrakt:

Celem opracowania jest identyfikacja kierunków zmian w strukturze rolniczego użytkowania ziemi w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej. Analizą objęto podstawowe elementy struktury użytków rolnych oraz strukturę upraw na gruntach ornych. Badany region tworzą kraje postsocjalistyczne, które zostały przyjęte do Wspólnoty Europejskiej. Wykorzystano materiały źródłowe Eurostat oraz FAO. Analiza wykazała duże zróżnicowanie przestrzenne regionu pod względem struktury użytków rolnych oraz struktury upraw na gruntach ornych. Po 1989 roku we wszystkich analizowanych krajach wystąpił ubytek użytków rolnych, zaś w ich strukturze spadło znaczenie upraw trwałych. W strukturze upraw zwiększył się udział roślin przemysłowych. Czynnikami zmian w kierunkach rolniczego użytkowania ziemi są przede wszystkim: prywatyzacja i restytucja ziemi, procesy demograficzne na wsi oraz polityka rolna UE.
