Search for: [Abstract = %22The aim of the work detailed in this article has been to indicate demographic and social categories to the greatest extent segregated in the three selected metropolitan areas of Warsaw%2C Berlin and Paris%2C by applying multidimensional analysis%5C%3B as well as to answer a question as to whether these categories are similar or different%2C given the different circumstances underpinning the development of the areas under study. The metropolitan areas were selected from Central Europe %5C(Warsaw%5C)%2C Western Europe %5C(Paris%5C)%2C and from the area located in the borderland between these regions %5C(Berlin%5C). In the case of each area%2C typical categories were selected for analysis%2C and developed on the basis of accepted segregation indices %5C(the dissimilarity index D%2C isolation index xPx%2C delta index DEL%2C absolute centralisation index ACE%2C spatial proximity index SP and modified location quotient LQp%5C). The multidimensional and multifaceted analysis allowed the most segregated groups at municipality and district levels to be distinguished%2C and presented in the context of previous research.%22]
