Abstract:

This article we can consider as a contribution to researching the role of cemeteries in the circle of Lusatian culture. The Author analyses the wider territorial structures as well as the microstructures of settlement. The micro regional analyses take into consideration first of all the size of individual territory and the distance between cemeteries and another sites, occupation zone and economic zone. The Author put attention to the differences in the environment - the wide valleys of the big rivers and the territories outside the valleys. He draws a conclusion that the cemeteries could be as useful in the settlement studies as settlements
