Abstract:

This paper presents the results of chemical analyses of Early Medieval pottery of the Drohiczyn type. Pottery samples were chosen from different archaeological sites: strongholds, settlements and inhumation cemeteries in Mazowsze and Podlasie region. The main aim of analysis was to obtain information about the chemical composition of the clay used to make “Drohiczyn” type vessels
