Description:

Photography (scan from a slide). The image shows part of the shepherds wedding ceremony. In the foreground, the groom goes in the crown, in right hand he is holding a sword. On either side are going best men belonging to the family while holding red veil over groom’s head. Behind, The women richly adorned in black outfits characteristic for rabari. In this way, the family of the groom enters the bride's village, where the wedding ceremony takes place. Standing or sitting around the wedding guests are dressed in festive clothes, men - traditionally in white
