Description:

Photography (scan from a slide). Women in traditional dress - black skirts and long woolen veils in patterns of red dots going on holy rites of Vachchada Dada. It takes place in the middle of the day, not like other after dusk. Participants gather around shrine lying in a field - men sit on the board of shrine, sing and play, and a woman sitting on the ground. It is also an opportunity to give the names of the children who were born during the year. During the ceremony, one of the helpers take another child on the hands, and bhopa, a type of medium in a red turban, falls into a trance and gives children names
