Object description:

Photo (scan from slide). After death, the bodies of the dead cows are left for the vultures on the river bank. The thick skin is cut by a human so that the birds have access to the entrails. After the vultures have cleaned the bones and skin, a person takes the animal's skin, which is later made into shoes, etc. The photo shows the vultures, and in the background, the monastery buildings located on the other side of the river are visible.
