Photo (scan from slide). Rural cottages and farm buildings made of wood. The pointed roofs are covered with tiles and thatched roofs. There are arcades in front of the entrance to the cottage. The villagers of Devgaon cultivate rice and raise animals. The village is situated in a monsoon zone, hence the landscape is dominated by branchy trees and rich vegetation. Photo taken in the dry season.
