Szeroki wybór zdjęć przedstawia krajobraz, budynki, przestrzenie wiejskie, portrety, wybrane obrzędy, ubiory codzienne jak i odświętne oraz ikonografię. Wykonano je w latach 1989, 1992, 1994 i 1996. Jest to zapis pracy etnografa, jak również miejsc – wsi i świątyń, w których był przyjmowany prof. Dagnosław Demski. Zdjęcia stanowią cenny zapis zmiany profesji, porzucenie starych zabudowań oraz zmianę tradycyjnego ubioru

Object description:

Photo (scan from slide). The men dressed in the characteristic white costumes of the kachchi shepherds are sitting on the slab of the shrine. Around them are men, women and children. The photo was taken during the Vachchada Dada festival. It takes place in the middle of the day (Kartik Sud, the first Monday of the month), and not after dusk like other similar events. The participants gather around the shrine lying in the field - the men sing and play. It is also an opportunity to name children who are born within the year. During this ceremony, one of the helpers takes another baby in his arms, and a bhopa, a kind of medium in a red turban, falls into a trance and names the babies.
