TY - GEN N1 - Beginnings of the early medieval settlement on the area reach Opole and the most immediate surroundings than VII up to the 10th century. At the close of the 10th century also a town came into existence on Ostrówek which quickly grew to the rank of the foreground factor in settlement team on the area of Opole, and at the same time became a castle about social meaning for the tribe of Inhabitants of Opole. Archaeological examinations in Opole were commenced in 1930 of year of the survey G. Raschke), and in 1948-1969 years, in 1977-1978 were continued every year by the executive committee of the Research on Beginnings of the Poland, next by the Institute of the History of the material culture by PAN management of Rudolf Jamka, and then of Władysław Hołubowicz and Bogusław Gedigi.
