The basis for the source form parts of looms like loom weights and weaving tools. The authors present evidence discovered during excavations, beginning with the vertical warp-weighted loom through the horizontal pit loom to the foot loom. As established, the archaeological evidence discovered so far does not include construction fragments of other types of looms. Unfortunately, parts of looms are extremely rarely discovered. To obtain a more complete picture of looms functioning in the present-day Polish territory, the evidence is additionally extended by analogies from European territories, as well as iconography}, type={Text}, title={Early Medieval Looms in Poland in the Light of Archaeological Finds}, URL={http://www.rcin.org.pl/iae/Content/67587/PDF/WA308_87901_PIII348_Early-Medieval-Looms_I.pdf}, keywords={loom, weaving, weaving tools, textile production, early Middle Ages, Poland}, }
