 abstract={The paper discusses the picture of Krakow in the early 1920s in the surrealist interpretation of Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz, a writer and a painter, as presented in his novels Insatiability and The Only Way Out. However, Witkiewicz did not describe the realities of the city, but a phantasmagorical images of places with which he was associated.
