Limited social research on this subject has hindered the development of effective strategies for its protection and promotion. In 2024, a CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviews) survey was conducted on a representative sample of 1,080 adult residents of Poland as part of the “Values of archaeological heritage from the perspective of local communities. A comparative analysis” project. The survey focused on understanding what Polish citizens know about this kind of heritage, their attitudes towards it, and how they like to engage with it. This article analyzes the results of the study in the context of the broader challenges of protecting, managing, and promoting archaeological heritage. The authors present specific recommendations for improving current strategies and practices in this field. They also emphasize the need for further social research on this subject.}, title={Wartości dziedzictwa archeologicznego w badaniach społecznych: postawy, wiedza i zaangażowanie Polaków}, type={Text}, URL={http://www.rcin.org.pl/iae/Content/262339/299392_I.pdf}, keywords={archaeological heritage, quantitative research, archaeological heritage values, sharing and dis-semination of heritage}, }
