The early settlement complex in composition, which consisted of rural settlement, open characteristic of the contemporary period of the early Middle Ages (VII and IX-X century) and fortified settlement from the time of the Piast monarchy (2nd half of the XI-XII century). Among his most important elements were also cemeteries. Many years of excavations carried out in the years 1961-1969 and from 1975-1982. The work in the field was led by Prof. Stanisław Suchodolski and Ph.D. Jadwiga Rauhutowa and a consultant periodically held Prof. Witold Hensel
