Description:

Chlorinated hydrocarbon residues were identified in the fatty tissue of roe deer from two different populations, inhabiting respectively forest and field, and an attempt made to define carbaryl level in samples taken from the brain, lungs and testes. One of the purpose of the study was to define insecticide residue in roe deer tissues depending on the amount of plant protection preparations introduced into the habitats in which these animals live.
