Object description:

Photo (scan from slide). A country cottage made of wood. The sloping roof is covered with tiles and thatched roofs. There are arcades at the front. In the back, on the left, there is a garden, and tall trees and palm trees grow around the hut. The village of Devgaon is located in the monsoon zone, hence the predominance of rich vegetation. The inhabitants are involved in the cultivation of rice and animal breeding. Photo taken in the dry season.
