W gruczołach łzowych świnki morskiej badano lokalizację i aktywność DB, DM, FZ, FK. Największą aktywność enzymatyczną obserwowano w obwodowej części komórek gruczołowych oraz komórek warstwy zewnętrznej cewek. Zlokalizowanie enzymów przemawia za udziałem przestrzeni międzykomórkowych w transporcie wydzieliny komórek gruczołowych (Ryc. 1-6).
