Object description:

Obverse: Prussian eagle with monogram of the King Sigismund Augustus (crowned capital „S”) on the chest, circular legend: ALBERTVS D G DVX PRVSSIE, a tower (mint mark of Wolf Nimptsch) at the top of the circumference ; Reverse: monogram of Albert of Prussia – capital „A” in the ring, checkerboard below – coat of arms of the House of Hohenzollern, rosettes on its sides, inscription around the circumference: SOLIDVS PRVSSIE 1558 ; Issuer: Albert of Prussia (1525-1568) ; Provenance-mint: Duchy of Prussia – Königsberg ; Bibliographic reference: Kopicki 3768 - E.
