Abstract:

This article deals with an initial-boundary-value problem for a sixth order Cahn-Hilliard type equation. The problem describes dynamics of phase transitions in ternary oil-water-surfactant systems in which three phases, microemulsion almost pure oil and almost pure water can coexist in equlibrium. The existence and uniqueness of a strong, large time solution to such problem have been proven.
