Wyprawa botaniczna Kazimierza Browicza i Jerzego Zielińskiego na grecką wyspę Ikaria w dniach 27 kwietnia do 17 maja 1994 roku. Podczas badań terenowych badacze po raz pierwszy odnotowali 15 nowych gatunków dla rodzimej flory wyspy: Artemisia arborescens L., Capparis orientalis Veill., Celtis tournefortii Lam., Colutea melanocalyx Boiss. & Heldr., Crataegus × sinaica Boiss., Lonicera implexa Aiton, Micromeria graeca (L.) Benth. ex Rchb., Quercus robur L., Rhamnus oleoides L., Rubia tenuifolia d'Urv., Ruta chalepensis L., Santolina chamaecyparissus L., Tamarix hampeana Boiss. & Heldr., T. tetrandra Pall. ex M.Bieb. i Ulmus minor Mill. subsp. canescens (Melville) Browicz & Ziel. Ponadto po raz pierwszy znaleziono 18 zadomowionych gatunków. Opierając się na zebranym materiale zielnikowym, notatkach terenowych, danych z literatury i uzyskanych z kilku ważniejszych europejskich zielników ustalono, że na Ikarii występują 103 gatunki drzew i krzewów, w tym 82 rodzime i 21 zadomowionych. Badacze podają także listę drzew i krzewów uprawianych na wyspie.
