Publikacja niniejsza uzupełnia badania autorki (M. Pucek, 1957) nad jadowitością rzęsorka rzeczka (Neomys fodiens fodiens Pennant). W wyniku iniekcji domózgowych, dootrzewnowych i dożylnych ekstraktu gl. submaxillares stwierdza się jego toksyczne działanie na białe myszy, polniki (M. agrestis L.) i króliki. Najsilniejsza reakcja nastepowała po iniekcjach domózgowych (myszy i polniki) oraz dożylnych (króliki).
