Object description:

Neolithic mine of Jurrasic flint in Sąsów near Cracow. Expoited by the communities of Linear pottery culture and Lyengel-Polgar culture. Site 1 in Sąspów, Olkusz district, was discovered in May 1960 by Waldemar Chmielewski, in a scarp developed during a motorway construction from Sąspów to Wymysłów
