Description:

Electron microscopy analysis of the heart biopsy

Abstract:

Ultrastructural analysis revealed blurred sarcomere pattern. Myofibril arrangement was preserved. Nuclei were normal, centrally located , but the nuclear envelope was corrugated ,with numerous indentations . Mitochondria were mostly un changed, some were characterized by abnormal arrangement of mitochondrial cristae.
