Abstract:

Ultrastructural analysis revealed an irregular arrangement of the contractile apparatus . In the areas d evo id of myofibrils, numerous mitochondria wit h an electron-dark matrix were observed. In some cardio myocytes, mitochondria were characterized by a blurred structure and an irregular shape . In the extracellular space abundant collagen fibres were seen . The endothelium of capillaries was characterized by light or dark cytoplasm . In endothelial cells of ultrastructurally unchanged vessels numerous pinocyt ic vesicles were observed .
