Description:

Wyprawa botaniczna na wyspę Zakintos i północną cześć półwyspu Peloponez w dniach 10. 05 -16. 06. 1988 roku. Uczestnicy: Adam Boratyński, Kazimierz Browicz, Anna Tomlik, Jerzy Zieliński i Waldemar Kowalski (kierowca). Na wyspie Zakintos stwierdzono występowanie 72 gatunków drzew i krzewów, w tym 15 znaleziono po raz pierwszy. Szczególnie cennym odkryciem było odnalezienie: Arthrocnemum fruticosum (L.) Moq. i A. perenne (Mill.) Moss ex Fourc., Convolvulus oleifolius Desr., Dianthus fruticosus subsp. occidentalis Runemark, Cistus parviflorus Lam., Crataegus monogyna Jacq., Ephedra foeminea Forssk., Genista acanthoclada DC., Helianthemum syriacum Boiss., Laurus nobilis L., Lavatera bryoniifolia Mill., Pistacia terebinthus Mill., Quercus pubescens Willd., Rhamnus oleoides L. i Thymelaea tarton-raira (L.) All. Na wyspie odkryto także nowy dla nauki takson z rodzaju Micromeria Benth. (Labiatae). Nazwano go nazwiskiem profesora Kazimierza Browicza, Micromeria browiczii Zieliński & Kit Tan, wybitnego polskiego dendrologa, organizatora wielu wypraw botanicznych, znawcy flory Śródziemnomorza i południowo-zachodniej Azji.
