Abstract:

In the paper, a class of uncertain assembly systems described by a relational knowledge representation is considered. The formal model of a system, the statement of the decision (control) problem and the solution in the form of a sequence of sets of assembly operations in successive stages of the assembly process under consideration are presented. The algorithms of learning consisting in step by step knowledge validation and updating are given. The structure of the decision making system is described. The application of uncertain variables to the determination of optimal decisions is presented.
