On a group multicriteria method for project evaluation

Abstract:Experiences with a real case study are presented. The case study deals with allocation of EU structural funds in the capital region of Mazovia in Poland. A new in the practice of the funds allocation method supporting multicriteria analysis and selection of projects applying for the funds has been proposed and used in the study. According to the method, an interactive procedure has been implemented in which a group of experts formulates the multicriteria decision making problem, carries out the multicriteria analysis of the projects, and finally creates a ranking of the projects.
