Abstract:

At present a great deal of research is being done in different aspects of Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR). The work concerns the use of fuzzy set theory to handle crisp image data. A fuzzy rulebased classification of image objects is proposed. This paper presents the results of fuzzy rule-based classification in CBIR. Furthermore, these results are used to construct a search engine taking into account data mining.
