Abstract:

In the paper, an axiomatic analysis of L-, quasi-L-, S-, and quasi-S-statistics, is considered. These aggregation operators generalize, respectively, the OWA, OMA, OWMax and symmetric maxitive averaging functions for an arbitrary number of inputs. Certain arity-dependent properties, important in many practical applications e.g. quality control in science, are discussed. Additionally, the most interesting bibliometric indices of scientific impact are investigated.
