Abstract:

A two-week old infant with congenital muscle limpness was examined.In the whole biopsy numerous nemaline bodies of varying size and density were visible. Cell nucleiwere ultrastructurally changed, numerous intussusception in the nuclear membrane were observed.Conclusions: Nemaline myopathy. Genetic testing and consultation at genetic outpatient clinic isrecommended.
