Arteriography and histological examinations were performered with this view. It was confirmed, that sewing in of the venous „patch” lastingly pre¬vented development of the stenosis in the site of the arterial wall suture. The patch subjected to fibrosis within 4 weeks, at which it became covered — from the side of arterial lumen—with a cellunar layer, looking like vascular endothelium. Aneurysm development in the site of sewed-in patch was never noted.
