<dc:description xml:lang="en"><![CDATA[Directional, long-term trends of changes in primary production and destruction in three heated lakes are characterized. The effect of environmental conditions has been estimated. Primary production has decreased as a result of lower water retention in lakes and smaller abundance of nutrients. Heated water is responsible for maintaining a high level of destruction.]]></dc:description>
