(polycarpic, perennial), Cerastium semidecandrum L. (monocarpic, annual) and Jasione montana L. (monocarpic, biennial or perennial). During the study period lasting several years there occurred no significant changes in the qualitative and quantitative structure of the communities. Populations of the particular species showed a high stability of numbers over a many years' cycle, in spite of their different methods of reproduction and competitive power.
