TY - GEN N1 - Clinical, anatomical and histological diagnosis N2 - Histological diagnosis: Aneurysms. Autopsy examination of 68-year-old was performed. Histologic evaluation in light microscopy was based on sections stained with Hematoxylin-eosin, orcein, Van Gieson's stain.A section of the aneurysm was examined. It was not possible to distinguish the different layers of the vessel wall - few myofibres were mixed with very numerous collagen fibers - the internal elastic lamina was completely missing. In places, tissue loosening and degeneration was visible in the aneurysm walls.
