Polish Academy of Sciences}, language={pol}, abstract={In the paper an idea of a complex computer system for decisions support for the operator ofa municipal water network is presented. The system consists of four co-operating modules: the numerical map of the water network, the monitoring system, the computer program for hydraulic calculations and for optimisation, and the set of computer programs realising the non-technical tasks which are arising by the maintenance of the waterworks. The numerical map is based on a standard GIS system adapted for the needs of the water network.
