Neuropathological evaluation in light microscopy was based on brain paraffin sections stained with Hematoxylin-eosin, cresyl-violet, Heidenhain and Kluver method.The cerebellar and brainstem structures were normal. The nuclei of the basal ganglia were deformed and covered with a thick layer of subcortical glia. The temporal and occipital cortex were fairly well formed with minor secondary cellular changes. The remaining part of the pallium was a bladder, whose thin wall was composed of glial tissue covered with mesodermal fibers. The inner surface of the bladder also had a glial-mesodermal structure and corresponded to a layer of subependymal glia. Lymphocytic-macrophage inflammatory infiltrates were seen in the stem meninges. Numerous calcified formations corresponding to terminal colonies of toxoplasmas were found in the supra- and subependymal glia.}, title={File of histopathological evaluation of nervous system diseases (1963) - nr 161/63}, type={Text}, URL={http://www.rcin.org.pl/Content/210124/PDF/161_63.pdf}, keywords={Parastic diseases}, }
