Haemorrhagia nubarachnoidealis. Arteriosclerosis cerebri. Autopsy examination of 70-year-patient was performed. Neuropathological evaluation in light microscopy was based on brain paraffin sections stained with Hematoxylin-eosin and Van Gieson's method.The edge of hemorrhagic focus, involving the striopallidum and white matter was visible in the left frontal lobe. There were numerous circular small hemorrhages around the focus. Blood cells were also seen in the subarachnoid space. Few macrophages were observed near the focus and in the areas of hemorrhages. A stimulation of capillaries in the vicinity of the focus and in the cortex was observed. A general thinning of the tissue structure with perivascular lacunae was seen. The vessels were filled with blood cells. Symptomatic, lymphocytic infiltrates were present around some vessels. Cellular thinning in the 3rd and 5th layers of the cortex was visible, and fibroblast proliferation in the meninges was seen. Severe atherosclerotic lesions were found.}, title={File of histopathological evaluation of nervous system diseases (1965) - nr 148/65}, type={Text}, URL={http://www.rcin.org.pl/Content/197169/PDF/148_65.pdf}, keywords={Arteriosclerosis cerebrii, Vascular hemorages, Haemorrhagia cerebrii}, }
