Autopsy examination of 88-year-old patient was performed. Neuropathological evaluation in light microscopy was based on brain paraffin sections stained with H-E, PAS and Van Gieson's method. In the left occipital lobe, a degenerative focus was seen which was in the stage of glial-mesodermal organization. The focus damaged the cortex and partially the white matter. Macrophages with PAS positive substances and vascular network with distended endothelium, gemistiocytic glium were present. Multiple tissue defects were observed. In the cerebellum, in one lobule, an old malacic foci was visible. The granular layer in the vicinity of the lesion was completely atrophied.}, title={File of histopathological evaluation of nervous system diseases (1966) - nr 2/66}, type={Text}, URL={http://www.rcin.org.pl/Content/193283/PDF/2_66.pdf}, keywords={Vascular disaeses - encephalomacia, Vascular disease - softening}, }
