The document sheds new light on the life of the Polish poet. As it turns out, in early 1596, between Orleans and Geneva, Naborowski first visited Montpellier, Nîmes, and Avignon. The document is the more important that Platter offers a detailed insight into the early period of the poet’s student life, even before he entered the service of the Radziwiłłs. Platter provides direct quotes from Naborowski, who served as an interpreter of young travellers during their (sometimes contentious) contacts with foreign nations.}, type={Text}, title={„Podróżujemy dla własnej przyjemności...” – zapis podróży Daniela Naborowskiego z Montpellier do Awinionu}, URL={http://www.rcin.org.pl/Content/154397/PDF/WA303_188459_A512-64-2020_OiR-Bielak.pdf}, keywords={Naborowski, Daniel, 1573-1640, Naborowski, Daniel (1573-1640) - biography - sources, Platter, Thomas (1574-1628), Platter, Thomas, the Younger, France - description and travel, foreign study - Europe - history -16th century, travellers - Europe - social life and customs - history, Polish students - foreign countries - 16th century, apodemica, journey, travel journal}, }
