 abstract={A 48-year-old patient with suspected myopathy was examined. A biopsy of quadriceps sinister wasperformed.Muscle fibers of various diameters: normal, atrophic (characterized by accumulation of nuclei) andhypertrophic fibers were observed in the biopsy. The fibers of the normal diameter revealedunchanged ultrastructure and preserved sarcomeres system.
