 abstract={A 3-year-old patient with suspected myopathy was examined. A biopsy of quadriceps sinister was performed. Electronmicroscopy analysis revealed the presence of numerous autophagous structures within the muscle fibers of normal diameter. Also the numerous small fibers of miotube morphology were observed. There was abundant fibrous tissue between muscle fibers. An ultrastructural image of the biopsy may suggest X-linked myopathy with excessive autophagy (XMEA).},
