 abstract={A 6-year-old patient was examined. A biopsy of quadriceps sinister was performed. Electronmicroscopy analysis revealed the presence of fat droplets within the muscle fibers (Fig. 1,2). We observed peripheral accumulation of glycogen (Fig. 3,4). There was abundant fibrous tissue between muscle fiber (Fig 5,6). A defect of mitochondrial enzymes was suspected. Biochemical examination of carnitine palmitoyltransferase was performed and the result was 2,95 nM/mgB/min. (Norm 6,5-18 nM/mgB/min.).},
